Subdued Stripes: A touch of color

Subdued Stripes scarf, 21 October 2024.

Suggested use: Drape over your shoulders ~ perfect for those fall and spring days with a zephyr of chill in the air.

Materials: 55% European tow linen and 45% US cotton in Pearl and Apricot (woven 2-4 August 2024)

Dimensions: 11″x68″ (28×172.75cm), with 4-inch (10-cm) fringe

Care: Hand wash cold or machine wash on delicate regular laundry soap ~ air or machine dry on low. (Machine wash in a mesh bag to help prevent tangled fringe.) Press if desired.

Handwoven on12” rigid heddle loom with a 15-dent reed

Special weaving technique: Plain weave with skip dent to create a lacy fabric.

Finishing touches: Hemstitched, with twisted fringe and wooden ‘handmade with love’ button.
