
Stripes seem simple, yet there is so much life in them, especially when paired with the detail of the fabric’s weave. I enjoy experimenting with the height and frequency of the stripes in these dishcloths. I hope these dishcloths add classic beauty to your everyday life.
Suggested use: Use daily to dry hands and dishes.
Materials: 100% cotton in various colors (woven January 2024-present)
Dimensions: 14″x19″ (35.5×48.25cm), not including fringe
Care: Hand or machine wash cold ~ air dry flat or tumble dry low. Press as needed.
Handwoven on: 4-shaft floor loom
Special weaving technique: “Blanket Tweel” pattern, from Marguerite Porter Davidson’s A Handweaver’s Pattern Book (ninth printing, 1971).
Finishing touches: Hemstitched, short fringe, and a metal ‘handmade’ charm.
These items were sold at The Roaming Root Cellar in Fairbanks, Alaska. More are planned for weaving in Summer 2025.



Each item is individually woven and one-of-a kind. Each item’s personality will naturally change over time through loving use and laundering.
