Care: Hand or machine wash warm or cool ~ air or machine dry on low. Use mesh bag if machine washing.

Special weaving technique: Plan weave with skipped-dents, and various yarn types and thicknesses to create unique color combinations for individual Oddballs.

Stuffing: Washable and non-allergenic 100% polyester fiberfill.

Finishing touches: Sewn and drawstring-pulled seams, with a ‘Handwoven, Made in Alaska’ fabric label. Some Oddballs have hair fashioned from ribbon and/or handmade cord. Oddball eyes are felt, embroidered, beaded, or bedazzled.

All Oddballs have at least one eye, and some have more than two! Which Oddball do you like best?

Making a cord with the Viking tool called a lucet, 2024.11.01.

Notes: I make the square cord with a simple tool called the lucet, which was used in the Middle Ages and by the Vikings. So cool! Oddball eyes and other facial features may be ironed, glued, or sewn on, or a combination of those three. In the event that eyes may fall off after repeated washings, simply glue or sew back on. I use non-toxic, washable fabric glue for all eyeball applications.
