Suggested use: Bags can hold your wallet, phone, and other items. Give jewelry or craft items in one of these bags as part of the gift. Have a child who loves a favorite doll, action figure, or handwoven Oddball monster? A drawstring bag is a great safe way to carry the toy. These bags’ use is up to your imagination!
Materials: 100% organic cotton and cotton/polyester/acrylic blends. Colors vary.
Dimensions: 100% cotton: Small: approx. 4.5″x6″ (11.5×15 cm); Regular: 7″x8″ (18×20 cm). Crimped cloth bags: Mini: approx. 3″x5″ (8×13 cm); Small: approx. 4.5″x6″ (11.5×15 cm).
Care: Hand or machine wash warm or cool ~ air or machine dry on low. Use mesh bag if machine washing. Do not iron crimped cloth bags.
Handwoven on: 12” rigid heddle loom with a 10-dent reed.
Special weaving technique: Plain weave, or plain weave steamed into crimped cloth.
Finishing touches: Sewn seams, ribbon closure, and a metal ‘handmade’ charm or a fabric label.
Closure: Crimped bags have two closure styles: drawstring ribbons from the left- and right-hand edges, or at the middle of each side. Pull from opposite sides to close. (You can change the closure style yourself simply by pulling the ribbon around to the section you wish.) Cotton bags have a closure ribbon only on one side. Pull ribbon away from bag to close.
Special note: Due to the crimped cloth’s textured structured, bags made from this fabric can hold more than you might think. The crimped cloth is expandable!
