Brightening Dawn: A cozy blanket to brighten the day

Suggested use: Wrap yourself in soft coziness.

Dimensions: 45″x33″ (114cm x 83.8cm).

Materials: Bamboo-cotton, yarn by Alaska Jude’s Yarn.

Handwoven on4-Shaft Floor Loom with a 15-dent reed.

Special weaving technique: Eight-Fold Basket Weave, from Marguerite Porter Davidson’s “A Handweaver’s Pattern Book” (ninth printing, 1971); the two tones of white warp give the blanket a subtle striped appearance.

Care: Hand or machine wash cold on delicate, with mild laundry soap. Lay flat to dry.

Finishing touches: Rolled hem and fabric label.
