These are the looms I have put into service to create Interlace items.
4-Shaft Floor Loom

4-shaft 45” Nilus Leclerc loom generously gifted me by Sarah K. (August 2021), who received it from her mother, who purchased it in 1971 from a store in Anchorage, Alaska, and shipped to Fairbanks, Alaska, where they lived ~ and where I now live, too. I enjoy creating larger projects on this loom as well as intricate patterns, both new and time-honored.
Rigid Heddle Loom

12” Ashford rigid heddle loom, on which I weave smaller, simpler projects that do not require complex or elaborate designs. But, I am discovering that there is much, much more I could create on this deceptively simple loom!

Lucet

Not actually a loom, this tool (believed to have been used in Medieval Europe and by Vikings) creates a square-shaped cord that is slightly springy. Getting the tension just right is tricky (at least for me), so the cords I make are all imperfect. Perhaps this makes them more interesting…?
Each item is individually woven and one-of-a kind. Each item’s personality will naturally change over time through loving use and laundering.
