Materials: 100% worsted wool in Daffodil, Marigold, Tangerine, and Cayenne (woven May-July 2022)
Dimensions: 13.75”x66” (70×168 cm), not including fringe
Care: Hand wash cool with no or minimal agitation ~ lay flat to dry.
Handwoven on: 4-shaft floor loom
Special weaving technique: “Borea Sunflower” pattern, from Marguerite Porter Davidson’s A Handweaver’s Pattern Book (ninth printing, 1971).
Finishing touches: Hemstitching and a metal ‘handmade’ hand charm
Weaving awards: Won 1st place, Class Champion, and Sheepherder in Paradise Theme Award at the 2022 Tanana Valley State Fair, Fairbanks, Alaska.
