
Suggested use: Wear it as a soft, cozy scarf on wintery days
Materials: 100% baby alpaca in Cream, Basil, and Moss (woven May-June 2023)
Dimensions: 9”x76” (23×192 cm), fringe not included
Care: Hand wash in cool water ~ squeeze (not wring or twist) ~ lay flat to dry. Use warm iron if desired.
Handwoven on: 4-shaft floor loom
Special weaving technique: Crackle weave Garden Path I, from Marguerite Porter Davidson’s “A Handweaver’s Pattern Book” (ninth printing, 1971); skip-dent technique to add texture to the edges and bordering the middle.
Finishing touches: Hemstitching, twisted fringe, and a wooden ‘handmade with love’ button
Weaving awards: Won 1st place at the 2023 Tanana Valley State Fair, Fairbanks, Alaska.
